Komushinowa is a bakery and cafe that has operated since 1983, located in the basement of a building near Sannomiya Station in Kobe. Its signature croissant saku has a crisp exterior, a moist interior, and a buttery aroma, and it also sells potato bread, canelé, and sandwiches. At 8 a.m. most products except some breads are available, and eat-in service is self-service: find a seat first, then order bread and drinks. After 2 p.m. croissants and small breads are mostly sold out, leaving fewer options.
