Bigorno Mise is a bakery in the basement of the Kobe International Conference Center, a walk from Sannomiya Station in Kobe. It sells bread, baked sweets, and cakes, with hard breads such as baguette, batard, and campagne, and chausson aux pommes as its main items, the chausson aux pommes combining a buttery pastry with tart-sweet apple. The selection is fullest around 1 p.m., and Sanchika connects underground so you can enter without getting rained on. Around 5 p.m. or near closing, the breads you want are sold out.
