LE BIHAN

Le Vian Hanshin Umeda Honten is a bakery in the basement of Hanshin Department Store near Osaka Station, selling French baguettes and Japanese-style bread. The mentaiko baguette contains a generous amount of mentaiko and finishes with a slight spiciness, and hard-type breads and a chocolate croissant are also available. The shop runs five checkout counters and does not reheat bread, so the mentaiko baguette is best eaten the same day. The salt bread is chewy and bland.
