Kaico sits at the south end of Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street in Osaka, in a converted old private house and warehouse that holds both a goods shop and a cafe. It serves classic firm-textured pudding, hand-drip coffee, and seasonal fruit waffles. Order and pay first at the counter of the goods shop on the first floor, then move to seating on the second floor, in the courtyard, or in the warehouse; water is self-service. Because the building is old, the cafe's ceilings are low and the space is somewhat cramped.
