Kaka Kahan is a Japanese confectionery in the basement of Festival Tower in Nakanoshima, Osaka, reached by going down the stairs from street level. It serves wagashi-style Western sweets such as the dried-fruit glacé jelly Unyu, Izayoi no Suzu made with wasanbon and nuts, and a florantin of sake lees and cashews. Staff explain the characteristics of each item and pack them one by one for takeout. The shop and its entrance are hard to see from outside, so it is difficult to find at first.
