Xiang Yuen Beef Noodles

Xiang Yuen Beef Noodles is a Chinese noodle shop on Junxiao Road in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, serving beef noodles and fried noodles. The beef noodles come in a rich broth scented with star anise, topped with tender beef, and the shop also serves shrimp fried ramen and several side dishes. Customers order outside first, give their surname, wait for a number, and then go in, picking up tableware and condiments themselves at the bottom of the stairs. Seating is limited, so there are lines at lunch and on weekends.
