マガザンキョウト

Magazine Kyoto is a hostel on the second floor of a shop selling design goods in a quiet residential area of Kyoto near Nijo Castle. Guests sleep in tatami rooms and use the kitchen and bath on the first floor, and during the day can look at art and small objects. After 7 p.m. the whole building is used by guests, and a bus stop for the city center is a two-minute walk away. The shop opens only on weekends.
