Yamashiro Onsen is a neighborhood bathhouse near Kitano Tenmangu in Kyoto, with a sauna and an outdoor bath. The sauna runs at around 110 degrees Celsius, followed by an outdoor water bath below 10 degrees Celsius and a herbal bath. On Sundays it opens at 8 a.m., and it is cleaned for two hours every day after closing. Shampoo and body wash are not provided.
