Kamakura Yuigahama Beach

Kamakura Yuigahama Beach is a wide swimming beach a 15- to 20-minute walk from Kamakura Station and about a 10-minute walk from Yuigahama Station. Many people surf there in late autumn and winter, giving it a local crowd. The sand has a slightly dark tint, and the sunset meets the horizon. Outdoor showers and changing areas are poor, and paid facilities close at 5 p.m.
