Namdaemun Market in Seoul is a traditional market with food stalls and shops selling clothing and cosmetics, where visitors can find mandu, kalguksu, and clothes. Each alley in the market is set up for eating food or choosing goods. The main building closes early, while outdoor street stalls continue a little past 5 p.m., so visitors need to check the timing. Because it is a tourist area, it is hard to say it is cheaper than neighborhood shops, and there are many touts.
