Yonggeumok is a chueotang restaurant that opened in 1932 in Seoul, serving the Seoul-style version of the soup. The Seoul-style chueotang contains miyeok, buchu, mushrooms, tofu, and yubu, and the loach is served either whole or ground. The restaurant closes between 3 and 5 p.m. for a break, and it is a small hanok dining room where guests take off their shoes. Those used to the thick broth of the Namwon style will find the clear, yukgaejang-like broth thin.
