Sungnye Hoegwan is a Korean restaurant near Namdaemun, toward Exit 3 of Seoul Station, serving samgyeopsal (pork belly), kimchi stew, and bossam. The kimchi stew and samgyeopsal are ordered often, with the stew heated on a large stone plate in the center of the table and a burner beside it. The dining room is large with wide spacing between seats, which makes it easy to talk over a meal. The quality of the samgyeopsal meat is weaker than the stone plate.
