Star Samarkand (Halal)

Sta Samarkand is an Uzbek restaurant on the Central Asian street of Euljiro 6-ga, near Dongdaemun Design Plaza Station. It serves plov, lagman, somsa, samsa, shashlik and borscht, and its lamb dishes have little gaminess and mild spice. Chicken and beef shashlik are each available, and bread is dipped in the borscht. Prices are higher and portions smaller than at nearby Uzbek restaurants.
