Songok is a noodle restaurant in Bukchang-dong, Seoul, between City Hall Station and Namdaemun Market, and has been open for more than 60 years. Its signature dish is pan memil, buckwheat noodles served in a thick broth with grated radish, scallions, and mustard. At lunchtime a wait forms, there is seating on the second floor, and solo diners may be seated at a shared table. Food comes out quickly, and the noodle portions are small.
