Somunnan Jjukkumi

Somunnan Jjukkumi is a seafood restaurant in Bukchang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, serving jjukkumi, octopus shabu-shabu, and griddle stir-fries. The typical order is jjukkumi followed by sujebi (hand-torn dough soup) cooked in the broth. Jjukkumi season runs from March to May, and in the shabu-shabu the cooked octopus is taken out and cut for diners. On two occasions, customers who brought children were turned away with the explanation that ingredients had run out.
