Okgyeong-i-nae

Okgyeongine Geonsaengseon is a dried-fish restaurant in Jungang Market in Sindang-dong, Seoul, selling grilled cuttlefish and steamed fish. The signature ban-geonjo cuttlefish is grilled on a hot-stone grill inside the store after ordering and served with seasoned vegetables or sauce. The restaurant opens at 1 p.m., and a waiting list forms even at 12:30. On weekday afternoons, parties have entered without waiting. The cuttlefish is chewy but tough, so watch your front teeth.
