Namwon Chueotang

Namwon Chueotang is an old chueotang restaurant in the alleys of Chungmuro and Euljiro that serves Namwon-style chueotang. The thick, rich broth is eaten with chives and finely sliced hot peppers, and chueotang fries, kimchi, and kkakdugi are served alongside. Around 2 p.m. on weekdays it was less crowded, and the loach, cabbage, and red pepper powder are all domestically sourced. Because the soup is made after ordering, food tends to come out late.
