Namhae Restaurant

Namhae Sikdang (Se Jjamae) is a Korean restaurant in the kalguksu alley of Namdaemun Market, across from Hoehyeon Station Exit 5, serving boribap, kalguksu and bibim naengmyeon. The kalguksu noodles are rolled and cut by hand, giving them a chewy texture. Anchovy doenjang soup and cabbage kimchi and yeolmu kimchi come out first, and payment is cash only. The three sisters divide the menu items and prepare them quickly, but the space is very small and they handle both the register and the cooking while wearing rubber gloves, which is uncomfortable for anyone sensitive about hygiene.
