Namdo Restaurant

Namdo Sikdang Jeongdongjip is an old Namdo-style chueotang restaurant in an alley next to Jeongdong Theater, serving only chueotang. The soup is made by grinding loach and boiling it with dried radish greens and doenjang, and it comes with three side dishes: cucumber muchim, kimchi geotjeori, and eolgari muchim. At lunch a line forms, and once you sit down the chueotang arrives right away without anyone asking for your order. The interior is small and entirely floor-seated, which makes it uncomfortable to sit and eat for long.
