Namdaemun Vegetable Hotteok

Namdaemun Yachae Hotteok is a street stall at the entrance of Namdaemun Market selling vegetable, seed, and red bean hotteok. Its signature vegetable hotteok contains glass noodles, carrots, and chives, cooked in oil and brushed with soy sauce. At 9:30 a.m. the wait was about 10 minutes, and the line grows longer after lunch. There is no seating, so it is eaten standing on the spot.
