Myeongdong Dakhanmari

Myeongdong Dakhanmari is a chicken restaurant in an alley off Myeongdong Station that serves dakhanmari and dakbokkeumtang. The dakbokkeumtang comes with whole potatoes in a thick, reduced broth, and the dakhanmari is finished with kalguksu and juk. It opens at 9 a.m., and the dakhanmari is boiled for about 12 minutes after ordering, then eaten with a seasoning sauce once the tteoksari rise to the surface. Being inside an alley, it is hard to find the first time.
