Mapo Usami

Mapo Usami is a restaurant near Yaksu Station in Seoul that serves beef bosintang and seafood galbi-jjim. The beef bosintang is made by boiling beef and ugeoji thoroughly and adding perilla seed powder for a thick broth. The seafood galbi-jjim comes with live abalone, octopus, clams, shrimp, and spicy galbi-jjim, and the meal is finished with fried rice or kalguksu. The seafood galbi-jjim is strongly sweet and the portions are not generous.
