Manpo Makguksu is a 40-year-old restaurant near Yaksu Station in Seoul that serves North Korean-style jjimdak, makguksu, and dumplings. The jjimdak is chicken cooked without seasoning until tender, served with chives and dipped in a sauce of mustard, vinegar, soy sauce, and dadaegi. The restaurant has a break time, does not take reservations, and operates on a walk-in basis. Parking in front of the store fits about two cars and is limited.
