Gimsambo Euljiro serves kimchi stew, budae stew and samgyeopsal (pork belly), and sits at the entrance of the second alley west of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station Exit 12. Ordering the kimchi stew brings a single-serving pressure-cooker rice, served in the pot, and water poured into the emptied pot makes scorched-rice crust and sungnyung. The dining room is large but dim, like a semi-basement, and the share of foreign customers is high. In summer the heat from the rice-cooking fire and the gas burners makes it hot, and the room is loud.
