Jungang Galchi is an old restaurant in the Galchi Golmok alley of Namdaemun Market in Seoul, near the four-way intersection, serving hairtail jorim and grilled fish. The hairtail jorim is simmered in a small pot with little broth and comes with thick radish, steamed egg, fried hairtail, and gim. The dining room keeps an old-fashioned feel, and lines form on weekends even though tables turn over quickly. The mixed grilled fish is on the thin side.
