Jangchung Tteokbokki

Jangchung Tteokbokki is a bunsik restaurant selling tteokbokki, gimbap and fried food, located at the entrance of the Jangchungdan-gil food alley, 220 metres from Dongdaeipgu Station Exit 2. The tteokbokki uses rice cakes in an old-style bunsik manner and is not spicy, while the gimbap is a menu item where the taste of the rice stands out. People stop by for gimbap on the way up or down Namsan, or pair bunsik with beer, and some visit at 3 p.m. for their first meal of the day. The shop is run by an elderly couple.
