Hwasan

Hwasangolbaengi is an old beer hall near Euljiro 1-ga Station in Myeongdong that serves golbaengi muchim and gyeran mari. The golbaengi muchim is made with scallions and hot gochutgaru, and the thick gyeran mari is made with cheongyang chili. It sits in a corner between old buildings, so it is hard to find, and when the weather is good you can eat at outdoor seats. On hot days, avoid the outdoor seats, and the indoor space is not cool either.
