Hosujip is an old chicken restaurant near Seoul Station in Jungnim-dong, Seoul, serving dakbokkeumtang, dakkochi, and ojingeo bokkeum. The dakbokkeumtang comes in a thick broth infused with perilla leaf and holds plenty of soft rice cakes, while the dakkochi is grilled over charcoal briquettes to order. The dakkochi can only be ordered after the dakbokkeumtang, and each person is limited to two skewers. The space is small, and lines run long on weekday lunchtimes and around the end of the workday, so seating is not comfortable.
