Hamheung e Gyeoul Naengmyeon

Hamheung E Gyeoul Naengmyeon is an old cold noodle restaurant at the entrance of the Jangchung-dong food alley, serving Hamheung naengmyeon, large meat and buchu dumplings, and mandu soup. The signature dishes are mul naengmyeon, with chewy noodles made from sweet potato starch in a chilled broth resembling dongchimi, and hoe naengmyeon topped with hoe. The kitchen is open, so noodles are boiled to order, and at lunch the tables fill quickly though the line moves fast. Hall service is distracted.
