Halmeoni Sundaeguk

Halmeoni Sundaeguk is an old sundae-guk restaurant near Jungang Market in Sindang-dong, Seoul, about 100 meters down from Sindang Station Exit 2 at a three-way intersection. The sundae-guk contains well-boiled head meat and offal, served with salted shrimp and geotjeori, and eaten with spicy dadeagi mixed in. It has been in business for close to 40 to 50 years, and the space is small, so when it is full, customers share tables with strangers. The pork smell is strong and the level of hygiene has to be accepted.
