Hakko-ya Chungmurojeom is a Japanese restaurant in Seoul’s Chungmuro area that serves ramen, tonkatsu, and donburi. Its signature koi-donkotsu has a clear, savory broth, while karai-donkotsu brings a sharp spicy taste from the first sip. The tonkatsu is thick and has a firm texture. The restaurant is a relatively long walk from Hanok Village, and gyudon is better avoided.
