Haenghwachon

Haenghwachon is an old Chinese restaurant near the Chinese embassy in Myeongdong, Seoul, serving uni jjajang, gan jjajang, and tangsuyuk. The uni jjajang balances noodles with a mildly sweet sauce, and the gan jjajang comes topped with a fried egg. Dinner reservations are accepted, Sinsegae Department Store is visible from the restaurant, and the gunmandu are grilled to order. After a television appearance the lines grew longer, and the noodle portions are on the small side.
