Gyeongdong Guksu

Jeongdong Guksi is a noodle shop in the basement of the Kyunghyang Shinmun annex at the end of Jeongdong-gil, Seoul. It serves sagol kalguksu, gukbap, and mandutguk. The Jeongdong kalguksu comes with cloudy sagol broth topped with zucchini and scallions, along with kimchi and kkakdugi. At lunchtime, walking in without a reservation can mean a 20 to 30 minute wait, and the noodles carry a flour aroma.
