Gomguksijip is an old Korean restaurant near Seoul City Hall in Mugyo-dong that serves suyuk, gomguksi, and guksu jeongol. The guksu jeongol boils noodles, mushrooms, scallions, crown daisy, and meat in a meat broth, and staff cook it at the table and ladle it into individual plates. At lunch, walking in without a reservation means a long wait, and after the jeongol is finished, rice porridge is ordered as an extra. The dining room is hot and very loud because of the crowds.
