Geumguk is a restaurant in Seoul that serves sets of udon, soba, tonkatsu and fried shrimp. The kimchi udon comes with four shrimp, one large mussel and fish cake, and small portions are also sold in the morning. On weekday lunch, a queue of ten parties ahead still means entering within 15 minutes, and ordering in advance brings the food within five minutes of sitting down. The tonkatsu smells of pork and its fried coating is soggy.
