Donghwa Restaurant

Donghwa Sikdang is a seafood restaurant in the Galchi Golmok alley of Namdaemun Market in Seoul, serving hairtail braised and fried. Ordering the braised hairtail brings fried hairtail and steamed egg as service items, and the fried hairtail is cooked crisp enough to eat bones and all. The kimchi is made in-house, and the braising liquid is eaten with rice and seaweed. The braising sauce is lightly seasoned and on the mild side.
