Daewonjib

Daewonjip is an old Korean restaurant near Euljiro 1-ga Station in the Dadong food alley, serving frozen samgyeopsal and jeyuk bokkeum. The frozen samgyeopsal is eaten wrapped in lettuce with thinly sliced pa muchim, and the jeyuk bokkeum comes with doenjang jjigae and a soft-fried egg. At lunchtime the place fills with office workers, and the smell of oil reaches the entrance while ventilation is poor. The dining room is hectic, making relaxed conversation difficult.
