Daetongsam is a Korean barbecue restaurant on the second floor of a commercial district in Seoul, serving aged minari and samgyeopsal (pork belly). The kitchen par-cooks the samgyeopsal and chadol, and staff grill them at the table, with hoe and naengmyeon (cold noodles) also on the menu. Because the meat arrives par-cooked, the dining room carries less smoke and staff response is quick. Daetongsul has a clean taste, and the doenjang jjigae is boiled with a crab base.
