Betelang

Beterang is a food stall in the basement food court of Lotte Department Store in Myeongdong, Seoul, serving Jeonju-style kalguksu, jjolmyeon, and dumplings. The kalguksu uses thin noodles in a thick broth with egg and whole perilla seeds, topped with seaweed flakes and a mix of spices. At lunchtime the queue is long, and the noodles are served with danmuji and kkakdugi. The noodles themselves are on the soft side.
