Seongsimdang Munhwawon

Sungsimdang Munhwaweon is a cafe and exhibition space a few minutes' walk from the Sungsimdang main branch, where visitors eat bread bought at Sungsimdang with drinks. Ordering an americano or a fig or green grape shake comes with a large plate and cutlery for each person, and goods are sold as well. The space runs from basement level 1 up to the 4th floor, and the 3rd and 4th floors hold an exhibition on Sungsimdang's history, which began in 1956 as a steamed bun shop in front of Daejeon Station. Seats are hard to find during busy hours.
