The Daejeon Modern and Contemporary History Exhibition Hall is a museum in the central district of Daejeon, housed in the former Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government building from the 1930s. It presents the history of Daejeon, which urbanized after the construction of the Gyeongbu Line, along with the anti-Japanese righteous army and independence movements. Visitors begin at the information desk at the entrance on the first floor and can look around the large staircase and the architecture of the old government building. The exhibition space is small, so the scale of the displays is limited.
