Lilac Tteurak is a cafe at the site of Yi Sanghwa's birthplace in Jung-gu, Daegu. It serves einspanner and coffee, and a 200-year-old lilac tree stands there. The cafe displays Yi Sanghwa's belongings and is used as a place for poetry recitals and publication commemorations. In April when the lilacs bloom, the scent fills the air enough to cover the smell of coffee.
