Kyobo Book Centre Gwanghwamun is a large bookstore next to Gwanghwamun Square at Gwanghwamun Station, combining stationery and cafes in one complex cultural space. It carries literature, humanities, economics, business, art, foreign language and children's books along with stationery, high-end fountain pens, keyboards and headphones, and the first floor has a bakery and cafe. Opened in 1981 as Korea's first large bookstore, it holds 500,000 titles and 2.3 million books in a single first-floor hall. There are tables inside where you can sit and read, and a Starbucks is right next door.
