Tongyeonghang is a seafood restaurant on the second floor near Jongno in Seoul, serving steamed and grilled shellfish. The shellfish is cleaned thoroughly, and the restaurant also serves thickly sliced hoe (raw fish); the steamed shellfish cooks for about 15 minutes with a timer and is eaten after removing the meat with tongs and scissors. Side dishes and seaweed soup are available at a self-service bar, and customers place their own orders. Kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) is served as dessert, and reservations are needed because the restaurant can fill up around 6 p.m.
