Todamgol

Todamgol is a small Korean restaurant in an alley in Hyoje-dong, Jongno, Seoul. Ordering dongtaetang brings five banchan first — musaengchae, kimchi, baekkimchi, kongnamul and buchukimchi — along with a bowl of rice. The dongtaetang arrives in a yangpun bowl and is eaten after about five more minutes of boiling. The space is not large, so between noon and 1 p.m. there may be no seats.
