Somunnanjip Gukbap Jeonmun

Somunanjip Gukbap Jeonmun is an old gukbap restaurant in Jongno, Seoul, near Jongno 3-ga Station and Nagwon Music Arcade, serving ugeoji gukbap and haejangguk. The broth is clear and clean with no chunks of meat, and diners add salt and gochutgaru to taste. Song Hae was a regular, and older men eat gukbap with makgeolli from early morning; a bowl arrives without ordering once you sit down. Hygiene is poor, so watch out for the kkakdugi and insects.
