Seungune Sikdang sits in a side alley next to Wonhuidang Clinic at the entrance of Gwangjang Market in Seoul, and serves home-style set meals with dried radish greens stew and cheonggukjang stew. Both stews are boiled on an anchovy base and come with rice and side dishes. Hours run from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., but the kitchen closes around 2:30 p.m. once the food runs out, and weekday lunches can mean a 20 to 30 minute wait. Seating is floor-only and the space is small.
