Seochon Jangeoga

Seochon Jang Eo Ga is an eel restaurant at the entrance of Seochon in Seoul that serves grilled freshwater eel. Large freshwater eels are grilled over charcoal and cut by staff into pieces ready to eat, giving the grilled eel a soft texture. Side vegetables such as lettuce, kale, and dang-gwi are refilled at a self-service bar, and the eel soup is not salty and leans bland. During meal times, customers crowd in and the dining room is noisy.
