Samdeok Tongdak Hyehwa Branch

Samdeok Tongdak Hyehwa is a chicken restaurant near the Hyehwa-dong theater alley and Marronnier Park in Seoul. It fries whole chicken, known as one of Daegu's three major chickens, in a cauldron and serves it with a crispy seasoned sauce that falls between dakgangjeong and kkanpunggi. The wide hall is a converted old Hyehwa-dong house, and each table has a kiosk for ordering. The chicken portions are large.
