Pungnyeon Tteokbokki is a bunsikjip in Bukchon, Seoul, about a 10-minute walk from Anguk Station Exit 2. It serves tteokbokki made with rice cakes, along with tteok kkochi, sundae, and twigim. The shop occupies a former rice mill and rice store, and its rice cakes keep a chewy texture, while the tteok kkochi is fried to order so the outside is crisp and the inside moist. Food comes out quickly, water is taken from the refrigerator, payment is upfront, and portions are on the small side.
